Welcome to the Lighthouse Inn:

The Lighthouse Inn on South Padre Island (SPI) welcomes and accommodates tens of thousands of Rio Grande Valley Locals, Tourists, Winter Texans, & Family/Friends from all over the world, each year! Our hotel is centrally located on the main boulevard of SPI – minutes away from beach accesses, restaurants, bars and many attractions South Padre Island has to offer! Our hotel features family size rooms, bayside view rooms, standard rooms, onsite parking amenities, free Wi-Fi, and swimming pool access for all guests!

The Lighthouse Inn is only a few steps away from the Laguna Madre Bay and a 5-minute walk from the public beach access (Gulf of Mexico). There are also many local attractions within a few minutes of the hotel listed below:

  • Sea Turtle Rescue Center/Hospital.
  • South Padre Island Birding Center & Alligator Sanctuary.

At the Lighthouse Inn we have a passionate support for our local artists and businesses in the community. Therefore, our hotel features many upcoming murals and sculptures created by local artists within the South Padre Island community. Driving Directions:

  • We are located at 1701 Blvd. South Padre Island Texas 78597
  • Soon as you make your way off the Queen Isabella Causeway know as ‘The Bridge’ to South Padre Island – we are only 1 mile away!
  • Make the first left at the traffic light soon as you are off The Bridge and continue driving down North on Padre Boulevard for just a few minutes until you see a gigantic Whale Sculpture/shopping center! We are located right next to the gigantic Whale Sculpture’s shopping center. You will see the Lighthouse Inn next door and you can’t miss us! There is a ‘Lighthouse Inn’ marquee sign on top of the front building with our name on it!
